Our 6-month PMU Apprenticeship Program provides the structured, hands-on learning experience required to establish yourself in the beauty industry while meeting Nevada’s PMU licensing regulations.
✓ Satisfies Nevada’s Apprenticeship Requirements – This program fulfills the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) apprenticeship training requirements needed to apply for a Body Art Card, which is required to perform unsupervised PMU procedures in Nevada.
✓ Gain the Skills to Get Licensed – Learn all necessary techniques, health and safety protocols, and state regulations to become a certified PMU professional.

Comprehensive 6-Month Training – Classes held once a week for six months, ensuring in-depth education.
Meets Nevada Licensing Requirements – Our program fulfills the required training hours for permanent makeup apprenticeships in Nevada.
Personalized Instruction – Small class sizes (3-6 students) allow for individualized attention from master PMU artist.
Full Student Starter Kit – Includes all necessary tools such as a mannequin head, mapping tools, disposable microblading pens, pigments, practice skins, and more.
Hands-On Experience – Work with live models under instructor supervision.
Earn While You Learn – Under mentorship, apprentices can service clients and earn income during training.
Certificate of Completion – Receive an accredited Nine18 Certificate of Apprenticeship Completion, which must be submitted to SNHD before obtaining a Body Art Card.
Studio Space Access – Gain access to our fully equipped studio for practice and client work.
Guidance on Licensing & Certification – Learn the necessary steps to legally operate as a licensed PMU artist in Nevada.

Powder Brows – A soft, shaded look for a fuller effect.
Blade & Shade – A combination of microblading & shading for enhanced results.
Combination Brows – A blend of microblading and powder techniques.
Nevada State PMU Regulations – Learn the licensing and health department requirements to ensure compliance.
Color Theory & Pigment Selection – How to choose the perfect pigment based on skin tone & undertones.
Client Consultation & Brow Mapping – Creating custom brow designs based on face shape & symmetry.
Live Model Training – Real client application with instructor supervision.
Business & Marketing Guidance – Learn how to build your brand, set pricing, and grow your PMU business.

Tuition: $4,500 – $7,500 (Based on Kit Selection)

Note: Students who enroll in Nine18’s 5-Day Training will be eligible for a $1K discount to go towards their 6-month apprenticeship at the studio.
